The date is Saturday March 23rd, 2024 from 9am-12pm, held at the large pavilion in Choctaw Creek Park. The Hazardous Waste Event will be held on the same day as the City-Wide Easter Event, so please drive carefully to the large pavilion in the back of the park. Only 10 spots are left available, registering on a first come, first served basis. Please apply on our website: https://www.mychoctaw.org/page/hazardous-waste-disposal . You will need to submit your First and Last name, phone number, address, email, and your 11-digit utility billing account number. Only those registered may attend. We are unable to accept walk-ins during the event. For those registered, please provide your Driver’s License and last month’s Utility/Trash Bill upon arrival. Choctaw Creek Golf Course will be closed Monday, March 18th for greens aerification and will reopen for regular business hours on Tuesday, March 19th. Greens aerification helps to alleviate soil compaction and improve drainage, promoting healthier turf growth. This process also facilitates the exchange of gases between the soil and atmosphere, ensuring optimal conditions for root development and overall turf health.
