The Hazardous Waste Event will be held on the same day as the City-Wide Easter Event, so please drive carefully to the large pavilion in the back of the park. You will need to submit your First and Last name, phone number, address, email, and your 11-digit utility billing account number. Only those registered may attend. This initiative aims to educate and empower limited-resource seniors, fostering improvements in nutrition and physical activity behaviors. The Informational Session scheduled for today on Wills, Trusts, Power of Attorney, and Advanced Directives, organized by Legal Aid of Oklahoma at the Choctaw Senior Center, has been postponed due to illness.
The rescheduled date for the session is Wednesday, January 24th, at 1:30.

Choctaw welcomes Immediate Care Oklahoma to our community! Located at 1664 S. Choctaw Rd., this state-of-the-art walk-in urgent care clinic is set to open its doors in April 2024.
Offering a wide range of services, the clinic will be open from 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week.
Due to inclement weather the Choctaw Senior Center will be closed today, January 16th, 2024.
Due to the extreme temperatures and poor road conditions, Waste Connections (trash services) will not be running Monday, January 15, 2024. All services will be delayed by one day throughout the week for residents.
City Hall will be closed on Monday, January 15th in observance of Martin Luther King Day. Offices will reopen for regular business hours on Tuesday, January 16th.
Reminder that Utility Bills are due by the 15th. If you are unable to make a payment in person before end of day on Friday (the 12th), please be aware that you can pay through the online payment portal on our website or drop your payment off in the box in the front parking lot. Payments that are dropped off by opening at 8 AM on Tuesday morning will not be charged a late fee.
Trash service is not affected by the holiday and will run as regularly scheduled.
However, if there is severe weather on Monday, that may impact trash pickup and lead to service delays at the beginning of the week or possibly impact the entire week. Issues with pickup will be posted to our Facebook page and website, and as always, âWhen in doubt, set it outâ to ensure your trash will be picked up.
