We're thrilled to announce that Choctaw Creek Golf Course is hosting the Choctaw High School 6A Girls Golf Tournament today! There are 118 girls and 18 teams on the course! 🎉 This day is filled with talent, determination, and sportsmanship as these incredible young athletes showcase their skills on the green. Let's cheer them on and show our support for their hard work and dedication! 🙌 Wishing all the participants the best of luck and a fantastic day of golf. Swing for the fences, ladies! 🏆

Featured L-R Officer David Woods – Officer Dylan Robins – Officer Colten Lobb (not pictured Master Patrolman Lacey Lowe) were honored at the 31st Annual Buckledown Awards, sponsored by Saint Francis Health System, Tulsa. These officers were submitted for their traffic safety efforts on duty and with our Oklahoma Highway Safety Grant within the City of Choctaw. The Officers have gone above and beyond in trying to educate and redirect the public to safe driving. I am proud to serve with them all!

Spring is right around the corner! Development Services is partnering with Midwest City and will be hosting the Free Annual Hazardous Waste Collection Event. The date is Saturday March 23rd, 2024 from 9am-12pm, held at the large pavilion in Choctaw Creek Park. The Hazardous Waste Event will be held on the same day as the City-Wide Easter Event, so please drive carefully to the large pavilion in the back of the park. Only 10 spots are left available, registering on a first come, first served basis. Please apply on our website: https://www.mychoctaw.org/page/hazardous-waste-disposal . You will need to submit your First and Last name, phone number, address, email, and your 11-digit utility billing account number. Only those registered may attend. We are unable to accept walk-ins during the event. For those registered, please provide your Driver’s License and last month’s Utility/Trash Bill upon arrival. Please see our website for a list of items that can be accepted. You can also text "Hi" to 405 - 993 - 4443 to opt in to the city's mobile text messaging system "TextMyGov" and text the keyword "Hazardous Waste" for more information about the Hazardous Waste Collection Event.
