We are proud to honor Investigator Colten Lobb and Deputy Fire Chief Jimmy Crabb for their exceptional contributions to our community. Colten Lobb, with two degrees in Forensics and working towards his Paramedic certification, saved a young man's life on July 4, 2023, and made heroic efforts during the Choctaw High School football game tragedy on August 28, 2023. Jimmy Crabb, with over 19 years in fire service and currently serving as Deputy Fire Chief since November 2017, brings a positive attitude and vision for growth, enhancing our Fire Department and community. We extend our deepest gratitude to Colten and Jimmy for their outstanding dedication and commitment. - Mayor Allcox and City Council

City offices will be closed on Monday, May 27th, in observance of Memorial Day. We will resume normal business hours 7:30am - 5:30pm on Tuesday, May 28th.

During the May 7th Council Meeting, The Mayor and Choctaw City Council presented the Mayor's Citation of Appreciation to Amanda Williams, Melinda Lloyd, Jennifer Holland, Sarah Huffine, and Lloyd DeShazo. They were recognized for their exceptional dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment to enhancing our community. Thank you, Amanda, Melinda, Jennifer, Sarah, and Lloyd for your outstanding contributions!

The In-Season tournament Championships at Bouse this week showcases our 4U division… three of the four remaining teams fighting for a championship consist of all Choctaw area kids and those teams have gone on to have tremendous success despite not knowing each other six months ago! These teams have grown close and became leaders in their division, we look forward to seeing them play for multiple years to come!
