The City of Choctaw partnered with Freese and Nichols to complete a draft of its Unified Development Code (UDC) as part of an effort to improve the City’s development regulations and provide organized standards all in one place! This update is intended to create a more user-friendly and transparent code that’s easier for residents, property owners, developers, and businesses to understand and use. The draft UDC includes visuals meant to take the guesswork out of the process, improve consistency and provide greater clarity on how development standards apply throughout the community.

This draft is an important step toward making Choctaw’s development rules clearer, more consistent, and easier to use. We encourage residents to review the draft Unified Development Code. https://cityofchoctawok.sites.thrillshare.com/documents/23427448

The City of Choctaw is excited to announce that we will begin hosting quarterly blood drives at City Hall!

We will be hosting a blood drive Friday, December 19th, between 7:30 and 11:30 a.m.

In past years, Our Blood Institute (formerly Oklahoma Blood Institute) held several mobile drives at various locations throughout Choctaw. They've now chosen a fixed location to provide donors with greater convenience and comfort.

This is a community event, and anyone in the community who is eligible to donate blood is invited to donate at City Hall. Please help spread the word to your family, friends, and neighbors!

As a thank-you for your generosity, all donors will receive a long-sleeve holiday T-shirt and a $15 grocery coupon.

Schedule your donation for Friday, December 19th, between 7:30 and 11:30 a.m. by clicking the link below:
