We are competing against other cities that also received project awards to see who achieved the best transformation. 🚧 Road Improvement Update! 🚧 A joint project between the City of Choctaw and the City of Midwest City will begin on Monday, October 7, to resurface Westminster Road from 10th Street to half a mile south. The project is expected to be completed by the end of October. During this time, local traffic will only be allowed. Please detour around the area using Post Road or Anderson Road. 🎃 Halloween at Choctaw Creek Park! 🎃 The City of Choctaw, the Volunteer Firefighters Association, and other local organizations are joining forces to bring you a Spooktacular Halloween event this year! 👻 Both Friday and Saturday will have exciting, family-friendly activities at the Haunted Hollow, with something special each night! You'll find vendors, food trucks, games, and trick-or-treating both evenings. Friday night will feature a live band and inflatables. Saturday night brings a movie in the park—Hocus Pocus! – (Please be aware that the start time for the movie has changed. It will now begin at 6:45 PM.) The Haunted Trails will begin at dusk and run until 11 PM both nights. Admission for the Haunted Trails is $10 and is sponsored by the Choctaw Volunteer Firefighters Association. What a perfect ending to this season's Friday Nights in the Park! There was such a great turnout from our community and it was greatly appreciated! Thank you Choctaw for supporting our local vendors throughout the entire season and creating a perfect atmosphere for everyone to enjoy! A very heartfelt thank you to our vendors for coming out each week with your huge selection of quality products. You have helped double the size of this event from the previous year and we could not have done this without you! A huge shoutout to all of our talented bands that came out and helped create the perfect ambiance for our Friday Nights in the Park, you were amazing!
