The final public hearing regarding the proposed TIF District will be held on June 16 at City Hall during the regularly scheduled City Council meeting.
The district is expected to cover approximately four square miles, extending from Hiwassee to Triple X and from 10th Street to 23rd Street.
The proposed TIF District is envisioned as a mixed-use area that includes housing, businesses, park enhancements, and improved connectivity throughout the community. Planned improvements include walking trails and golf-cart paths that will allow residents to travel from the golf course to Bouse Park through neighborhoods and commercial areas, creating greater access and connectivity across the district.
Choctaw City Council/ Choctaw Utilities Authority council meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month beginning at 6: 00 p.m. at City Hall, 2500 N. Choctaw Road, Choctaw, Oklahoma.
