If you have some free time and a call for community service in your heart, you should consider volunteering to help the City of Choctaw with a community project or with one of our community events such as our seasonal festivals.

We are always looking for helping hands and eager participants to help out with set-up and operations of our community events. Your help is always appreciated whether it be:

  • Hiding eggs and helping children at our Easter egg hunt

  • Rock out while you volunteer at Rock the Park

  • Baiting hooks and weighing fish at our Kid's Fishing Derby

  • Passing out candy and being spook-tacular at our Haunted Trails

  • Helping make the season merry during our Christmas in Choctaw celebration

Help is also needed in maintaining the Historical Gardens along northeast 23rd Street and installing new community recreational equipment, such as the Disc Golf Course, and other projects around the City.

If you are interested in volunteering for one of these events or projects, please complete the Volunteer Contact Form and we will be happy to follow up with you with more information. Please make sure to include your best contact information and let us know what event or project you wish to volunteer for, and if you require any accommodations. Thank you for doing your part to make Choctaw a great place to live!

For more information about our events you can check out our Special Events page, or call City Hall at 405-390-8198.
