The Senior Alliance Program

The Senior Alliance is a visionary initiative committed to enhancing the lives of seniors in our community. The program hosts classes and activities at the Senior Center, and in certain instances, Alliance collaborators will host classes and activities at their respective locations. The program offers comprehensive essential resources and learning opportunities to seniors in Choctaw and neighboring underserved areas through collaborative efforts with local businesses and organizations.

Program Goals:

Enhance Senior Well-being and Independence: Comprehensively elevate the well-being and independence of senior citizens in Choctaw and surrounding areas.

Foster Lifelong Learning Opportunities: Provide educational opportunities to seniors that will allow seniors to continue learning and growing, both intellectually and socially.

Promote Community Engagement: Promote a deep sense of community engagement among seniors, thereby contributing to the overall growth and well-being of the broader community.

Program Components:
The Senior Alliance Program incorporates ten key components based on the interests of our seniors, serving as the foundation for our program and ensuring a well-rounded, engaging experience for participants. Through collaboration with our partners, our goal is to create an enriching program that fosters diverse learning and recreational activities, appealing to a broad spectrum of seniors with varied interests and preferences. Together with our alliance partners, we strive to build a vibrant and inclusive community that caters to the unique needs and passions of our senior participants.
