The City of Choctaw offers two easy ways to pay your bill without the need to mail it in or drop it off at City Hall. You can now set up your payments to be automatically drafted from your checking account or pay online from the convenience of your computer.
As of Jan. 1, 2022, we will no longer be accepting over-the-phone payments for utility bills. Residents still have the options of paying by mail, online, or in person. We also have autodraft available.
AUTOMATIC BILL PAYMENTS
When you use automatic drafting you will still receive a monthly bill, just as you do now, which features the date your bill will be automatically paid - usually about 10 days after the bill date, depending on weekends and holidays. If you have questions about your bill, you should contact the Utility Billing Department prior to the automatic transfer.
If, at any time, you wish to stop paying by automatic transfer, complete the Automatic Bank Draft Removal Request form. Please notify the Utility Billing Department if you change bank accounts, you will need to complete a new Automatic Bank Draft Authorization form.

ONLINE BILL PAY
You can pay your utility bill online by going to the Choctaw Utilities Online Payment Center link. Please have your bill available and make sure that you enter your account number correctly so your payment will be applied to the correct account.
Payments can always be mailed to:
City of Choctaw
P.O. Box 567
Choctaw, OK 73020
Payments can be dropped in our payment box in our parking lot, located at 2500 North Choctaw Road.
Enroll in Automatic Payments
The only requirement for enrollment in the plan is that you have a checking account.
Simply complete the automatic bank draft authorization form (PDF), include a voided check and return them both to:
Utility Billing Department
P.O. Box 567
Choctaw, OK 73020-0567
It will take about 30 days to set up your account. Continue to pay your bill as usual, until your bill is marked "PAID BY DRAFT."
In case of insufficient funds or closed bank accounts, you will be assessed by your financial institution and the City of Choctaw Water Department the same amount that would apply for a dishonored check. Feel free to contact us with any questions at 405-390-8198.
