Annual Mobile Collection Event
Development Services has partnered with Mid-West City and will be hosting the Free Annual Hazardous Waste Collection Event on Saturday March 23rd, 2024 from 9am-12pm, held at the large pavilion in Choctaw Creek Park.
Only 70 spots are available, registering on a first come, first served basis. Please apply on the form below. You will need to submit your First and Last name, phone number, address, email, and your 11-digit utility billing account number. Only those registered may attend.
We are unable to accept walk-ins during the event. For those registered, please provide your Driver’s License and last month’s Utility/Trash Bill upon arrival.

Only residential waste will be accepted, no commercial waste. Registration is limited to the first 70 citizens.
>>Please note, as of July 1, 2022, this event will remain free to those residents that sign up and the items collected do not count towards to the annual 130 pounds cap.

You may always dispose of your household hazardous waste safely at the Midwest City Household Hazardous Waste Recycling and Disposal Facility located at 8726 Southeast 15th Street. Items delivered for disposal must be in original containers or correctly labeled and identified in a suitable substitute container.
Call the Household Hazardous Waste Facility in Midwest City at 405-739-1049 for an appointment and further information. Appointments are scheduled Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Bring your current Choctaw Utility bill and your driver's license when dropping off items.
>>Please note, starting July 1, 2022 any household disposing of less than 130 pounds annually shall remain free; however, drop-offs over 130 pounds annually shall be charged a pro-rated fee based on the cost charged by Midwest City. This fee will be invoiced to you by the City of Choctaw. Feel free to call Development Services at 405-390-2999 to get more information regarding this fee.

Items must be transported in such a manner to prevent spilling. If necessary, you may line a cardboard box with a plastic bag, but DO not place items in a plastic bag that is not supported by a box.
