Choctaw is served by the Choctaw-Nicoma Park School District (CNP Schools), which operates several elementary and middle Schools, as well as Choctaw High School. The district is known for its commitment to education and has a strong reputation within the community.  The 6A district offers a comprehensive educational experience that encompasses arts and sports programs, excellent academics, and the Great Expectations model has been in our elementary schools for over 20 years.

A recent development in our education system is the passing of a bond issue that will provide funding for improving the district’s existing facilities as well as building new schools and expanding the school district’s technology.

Choctaw is fortunate to be the home of the Eastern Oklahoma County Technology Center, also known as EOC Tech. Vocational and technical education is becoming increasingly important, and EOC Tech offers a wide range of career-focused programs to help students develop practical skills for the workforce.

Choctaw is also conveniently located near Rose State College. Rose State College is a comprehensive community college situated in Midwest City, just a short distance from Choctaw. The college offers a variety of associate degree programs, transfer pathways, and professional development courses.
