The Choctaw Economic Development Authority’s mission is to plan, implement, and promote projects and programs that directly benefit the community’s rate of economic growth. Choctaw Economic Development Authority’s main focus is to attract new business and developers, which in turn increases the sales tax base of the city, and in general makes Choctaw a great place to work, live, and shop. Community Economic Resiliency Initiative
Choctaw was awarded the 2023 CERI grant from the Association of Central Oklahoma Governments (ACOG). CERI will provide practical planning assistance for the 23rd street corridor through the Institute for Quality Communities at the University of Oklahoma.
